Badminton
Badminton is an indoor game that needs a lot of energy and is suitable for physical fitness. Playing badminton provides physical benefits like cardiovascular exercise, agility, and muscle development. At SVN there are 3 badminton courts and students are trained to play badminton by well qualified and skilled sports officers. This game enhances mental skills such as focus, quick decision-making, and stress relief. Socially, it fosters friendships and teamwork, making it a well-rounded activity for physical fitness and overall well-being. It can help students learn about cooperation, communication, and how to work together.
Basketball
Basketball is an accessible and enjoyable sport. At its core, this game is more than just entertainment; it can also be a platform to bring friends, families, and even strangers together. Basketball involves both physical activity and strategy; it also gives players an opportunity to express themselves by using their creativity on the court. At SVN, students from grade II start learning different skills of playing basketball.
Computer Lab
Computer literacy is essential for success in any field.At SVN, the computer lab prepares students for the future by providing them with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in a technology-driven world. It provides a personalized learning experience for students. They can work at their own pace, revisit concepts they may not have understood, and receive instant feedback on their progress. This helps to enhance their learning outcomes and increase their confidence in using technology.It also provides students with hands-on learning opportunities, allowing them to apply theoretical concepts in a practical setting. They can experiment with software applications, explore the internet, and learn programming languages, among other things.
Labs
Labs provide students a perfect learning environment for conducting experiments, making observations, and exploring their curiosities.
SCIENCE LAB- At SVN students engage themselves in well-designed laboratory experiences, develop problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, as well as gain exposure to reactions, materials, and equipment in a lab setting. This helps to understand concepts and principles and provide a detailed account of the experiment, including the methods, data collected, and results obtained. It requires them to carefully analyze their data and draw conclusions based on their observations. Carrying out experiments in a laboratory personally and analysis of the data obtained also help in inculcating scientific temper, logical thinking, rational outlook, sense of self-confidence, ability to take initiative, objectivity, cooperative attitude, patience, self- reliance, perseverance, etc.
Library

Libraries store the energy that fuels the imagination. They open up windows to the world and inspire us to explore and achieve and contribute to improving our quality of life. A library is a critical knowledge hub where students develop reading habits and gain valuable lifelong skills.
The school library comprises a variety of books including story books, fiction, science and technology, reference books and picture books for students and teachers. Students have a library period every week in their regular time table. Books are issued to students through a well-defined process.
Mess
Our school implements stringent hygiene practices, including regular cleaning and sanitizing of kitchen and dining areas, as well as proper food handling techniques. Mess at SVN strives to offer nutritious and balanced meals that cater to the specific dietary needs of our students. It develops an environment that fosters good nutrition and puts students on the path to success by emphasizing healthy food options, upholding strong food hygiene practices, and providing balanced meals.The mess runs two shifts for all meals. For students from Class KG I & KG II there is table service and for the rest of the students there is a buffet system. Pure vegetarian satvik food is prepared by the staff with love and enjoyed with gratitude by the students and staff.
Music
Music gives students unique opportunities to express themselves creatively and build confidence. From math and science to history, music can support any subject area and help keep students engaged in class. Music is one of the co-curricular activities subscribed by the students at SVN. From K.G I till class II there are two periods in a week and from class III till class VIII there is one period in a week. Students in SVN are trained in different Indian musical instruments like Harmonium, Dholak etc.
Smart Class
IFP (Interactive Smart Panels) is an integral part of the teaching system in SVN secondary, middle and primary classes. It is an innovative and comprehensive educational solution introduced to aid classroom teaching. It is designed to help teachers deliver high quality instruction, with an effective blend of classroom activities and interactive multimedia demonstrations. Based on the philosophy of different learners and different learning styles, the smart classroom assists the teacher in effective and efficient delivery of the topic. It is also empowering teachers to build thinking classrooms and is offering the best of pedagogy, content and technology.
Sports and Games
Sports play an important role in educating students as it builds physical strength, improves concentration and inculcates values of team spirit. Combining sports and education can help students to develop self sufficiency and a sense of ownership. Sports and games provide numerous benefits for students, such as physical fitness, improved mental health, better academic performance, improved self-esteem and social skills, and much more.
SVN gives special focus to sports and games. Here in SVN, different indoor and outdoor games are taught keeping in mind the level and caliber of the students to develop their skills in different types of games.
Volleyball
Yoga
The need and importance of yoga in education arises from the fact that it helps in improving concentration and attention span. Yoga is also known to improve memory function and its direct impact can be seen in the student’s performance. Yoga is a great aid to ensure that students don’t suffer from inattentiveness and hyperactivity. All of this together ensures better results.
To improve students' performance we also included Yoga in the curriculum. It is a part of their regular Time-Table . It is compulsory for children to take yoga classes. There is a separate yoga zone in our campus to teach yoga to students from K.G I to XII. For this, SVN has trained professional teachers who inspire the students and teach the benefits of yoga with pure attention and supervision.
