With this belief in heart Sagar Vidya Niketan is an initiative by Abhay Sagar Foundation with a mission to provide holistic education & serve mankind. It is an effort of community service by Sagar Group to strengthen the education system in the countryside. The foundation stone of Abhay Sagar foundation was laid on 1 July 2015, under the direction of Shri Sudhir Kumar Agrawal, Chairman and visionary leader of the Sagar group. The main objective is to spread the message of education in the society which is deprived of education in the rural areas.

Foundation Day & Investiture Ceremony 2026
“A true leader does not seek power but embraces the privilege of serving others with integrity & compassion.” Sagar Vidya Niketan celebrated its11th Foundation Day, Investiture Ceremony and Scholarship Felicitation for Class XII, session 2026–27, celebrating leadership, responsibility, and academic excellence. The event was graced by the esteemed Chief Guest, Shri Gagan Wadhawan, DGM, SBI Commercial Branch, in the presence of the school management, parents, teachers, and students. In his inspiring address, Shri. Gagan Wadhwan encouraged students to lead with integrity, discipline, and perseverance, reminding them that today’s young leaders are tomorrow’s nation builders.

International Yoga Day 2026
“Yoga nurtures mindfulness, discipline, and inner peace—the timeless qualities that empower students to lead healthier lives, achieve greater success, and build a brighter future.” International Yoga Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and zeal on 20th June 2026. Students from KG-I to Class XII, along with teachers and staff members, actively participated in the celebration, embracing the spirit of health, harmony, and mindfulness. The programme commenced with a brief introduction highlighting the significance of Yoga in maintaining physical fitness, mental well-being, and emotional balance. Under the guidance of trained instructors, participants performed various Yogasanas, Pranayama, and meditation techniques with dedication and discipline. The tiny tots of the Kindergarten enthusiastically participated in simple yogasanas, while students from Classes I to XII performed a well-coordinated yoga session, showcasing flexibility, concentration, and awareness about leading a healthy lifestyle. The celebration inspired everyone to incorporate yoga into their daily routine and reinforced the message that “Yoga is a way of life that nurtures a healthy body, a peaceful mind, and a balanced soul.” The event concluded with a pledge to practice yoga regularly and promote its benefits among family and friends.

DEAR- Drop Everything And Read,
"The is no substitute for books in the life of a child." The students and teachers experienced this magic of the world of books today, together under the DEAR Activity on the school ground. It is through the noble endeavour of the Sagar Group that 1000+ children are blessed with the gift of not just literacy but knowledge, which empowers them to bring about the change that the nation is striving for. The children vowed that this practise will not just contain to an activity but a habit for each and every child studying at SVN and also be shared with all the lives that the students of SVN touch upon.
